Discovered human remains believed to be 44-year-old Ryan SUTHERLAND, previously reported Missing in Didsbury, Alberta

Didsbury, Alberta – Didsbury RCMP are advising the public that human remains have been located, which are believed to be those of Ryan Sutherland (44) of Didsbury, Alta.

On April 3, 2022, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Search and Rescue located the remains in a wooded area. The circumstances surrounding the death remains under investigation by Southern Alberta Serious Crimes Branch. An autopsy has been ordered by the office of the Chief Medical Examiner and is scheduled for April 6, 2022.

An update will be provided when further details can be released.

BACKGROUND

Didsbury, Alberta – Didsbury RCMP seek public assistance in locating a missing male.

Ryan SUTHERLAND (44) of Didsbury, Alta., was last seen on Monday, March 28, 2022, around 12 p.m., at his home in Didsbury, Alta. Ryan is described as:

· Wearing white running shoes with a black jacket and hoodie

· 6 feet tall and approximately 300 lbs

· Brown eyes and a balding shaved head

· He has a large tattoo on his back (unknown of what)
