Autopsy complete in southwest Edmonton death; “manner of death is homicide”

Edmonton, Alberta – An autopsy has been completed on the male found seriously injured at a bus stop last week.

Yesterday, Mar. 31, 2022, an autopsy completed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner determined that Adam Keane, 35, died of a stab wound. The manner of death is homicide.

Homicide section continues to investigate, and detectives are still seeking dashcam and security footage from March 25 between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. at Saddleback Road between 112 Street and 27 Avenue. Background

At approximately 11:20 p.m. on March 25, 2022, Southwest Branch officers responded to the report of a seriously injured male at bus stop #4285 along Saddleback Road.

Upon arrival, police located a male suffering from edged weapon injuries and provided life saving measures. EMS responded and transported the male to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
