Rocky Mountain House, Alberta – On April 16, 2022, Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to a report of an individual pointing a firearm and uttering threats at a residence on 53 street in Rocky Mountain House. Upon arrival, the victim had already left the residence. RCMP set up containment and called in the RCMP Emergency Response Team. The suspect later surrendered without further incident.

RCMP have charged Boyd Beaverbones (24), of O’Chiese First Nation with:
· Ponting a firearm
· Assault with a weapon
· Uttering threats
· Fail to comply with conditions of release
· Possess firearm with serial number removed
Beaverbones was remanded in custody with his next court appearance set for April 27, 2022, in Rocky Mountain House Provincial Court.
