Leduc RCMP charge one male following “robbery in progress at a business”

Leduc, Alberta – On April 10, 2022 at approximately 7 p.m., Leduc RCMP responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a business in the area of 54 Avenue and 50 Street in Leduc.

One male entered the business, brandished a weapon, and stole an unknown quantity of goods.

Leduc RCMP officers responded to the area, located and arrested the suspect outside of the business. Nobody was physically injured.

Caleb John Tschetter (26) of no fixed address is charged with:

· Robbery

· Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

· Carrying a concealed weapon

· Fail to comply with a release order

Following a judicial hearing, Tschetter was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear in Leduc provincial court on April 28, 2022.
