Parkland county, Alta. – On April 28, 2022, Parkland RCMP received a complaint of a possible homicide in Parkland County. RCMP with the assistance of EPS Air One located an abandoned vehicle South of Township 505 and Range Road 275. Inside the vehicle, RCMP located a deceased man identified as a 45 year-old Leduc County resident. The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, RCMP have charged Stavon Maurice Allen (38), of Spruce Grove with:
- First Degree Murder
Allen has been located and arrested. He is remanded in custody with his next court appearance set for May 4, 2022, in Stony Plain Provincial Court.
As this matter is before the courts no further details will be provided.
Parkland, Alta. – Alberta RCMP Major Crimes advise that Stavon Maurice Allen has been arrested without incident. This arrest was made with the assistance of Edmonton Police Service Tactical and K9 Units, and South East Patrol.

Parkland, Alberta – Alberta RCMP Major Crimes are seeking public assistance in locating a wanted male. Stavon Maurice Allen (38) of Spruce Grove, Alta., has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and there is a warrant for his arrest.
Stavon is described as:
· 5’6 and 165 lbs
· Black hair and brown eyes
· Jamaican descent
Stavon was last know to be in Spruce Grove, Alta., and is known to frequent areas of Stoney Plain and Parkland County.
