Manitoba RCMP recover firearms and drugs during search

Goodlands, Manitoba – On April 29, 2022, as a result of an ongoing investigation, the Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), along with assistance from officers from the Turtle Mountain Detachment (Boissevain, Deloraine, Killarney) and West District Police Dog Services (PDS), executed a search warrant at a residence on Lennox Street located in the community of Goodlands.

The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of several modified firearms, ammunition, cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and drug related paraphernalia.

RCMP arrested a 40-year-old male, from Goodlands, who was later released for court scheduled August 9, 2022, in Killarney. He will face charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking as well as several firearm-related offences.

RCMP continue to investigate.
