Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police have charged a 37-year-old woman with multiple drug offences after observing activity consistent with drug trafficking.
On May 5, 2022 members of the Crime Suppression Team observed a female – who is known to police to be bound by conditions stemming from previous charges – inside a vehicle and initiated surveillance. The vehicle made a number of stops and police observed activity consistent with drug trafficking. Two occupants, the female and a male, were arrested without incident after the vehicle stopped at a convenience store. During a search subsequent to arrest, police seized cocaine, oxycodone and hydromorphone pills, fentanyl, methamphetamine, two cell phones and a collapsible baton. The estimated street value of the drugs is $11,000.

Misty-Rae Visser, 37, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Visser is currently in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
The male was released without charges.
