Innisfail RCMP seize suspected stolen plywood, taken from unknown construction site, following collision with police vehicle

Innisfail, Alberta – In the early morning of May 11 2022, a white GMC Sierra Truck was involved in a collision with a marked RCMP vehicle on 49A avenue in Innisfail. After the collision, the GMC Sierra fled at a high rate of speed for a short distance before the occupants fled on foot. One passenger, a 47-year-old male of no fixed address was arrested at the scene. A male driver and another female passenger have not been located. The truck has been seized by police.

The GMC Sierra had been carrying a large amount of 4×8 sheets of OSB plywood which is believed to have been recently stolen from an unknown construction site.
