Lac La Biche, Alberta – On May 16, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m., Lac La Biche RCMP and Fire Services were dispatched to a single vehicle semi roll over on Highway 881, 15 km north of Lac La Biche. Upon arrival, EMS had declared the driver, a 61-yr-old male from Musgravetown, NL, deceased at the scene.
Investigation revealed that the semi was south bound when the driver lost control and rolled into the north bound ditch. The semi was carrying compressed nitrogen gas, however there were no spills or leaks.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased.
