Winnipeg, Manitoba – The deceased has been identified as Tessa PERRY, a 31-year-old female of Winnipeg.
Justin Alfred ROBINSON, a 29-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following offences:
– Second Degree Murder
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He has been detained in custody.

BACKGROUND
On May 28, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Marlow Court.
North District officers in the area attended and located an unconscious female victim suffering from upper-body injuries. Officers administered emergency first aid to the victim before ambulance arrived.
The victim, a 31-year-old female of Winnipeg, was transported to hospital in critical condition; however, she succumbed to her injuries.
