Balzac, Alberta – On July 4, 2022, at 3:22 a.m., Airdrie RCMP responded to a report of a deceased person in the southbound lanes of Highway 2 at Highway 566. Upon arrival, a 36-year-old male from Airdrie was located deceased. Investigators believe the male may have fallen from the Highway 566 overpass onto Highway 2. The identity of the deceased male will not be released.
Airdrie RCMP are looking for anyone who may have dash camera footage for Highway 566 and/or Highway 2 between the hours od 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on July 4, 2022.
