“All it takes is one person with disregard for the hard-working business owners to cause significant damage to the businesses and impact the sense of safety in our communities. Our investigative teams work hard to identify crime trends and suspects who may be targeting businesses in our city,” says Calgary Police Service General Investigations Unit Staff Sergeant Mark Auger. “Business owners can aid in our investigations by ensuring CCTV is operational, effective and accessible to investigators. We would like to thank all of the business owners who assisted in this investigation.”
When it comes to arresting and charging prolific offenders, we hear and feel the same frustrations as the public when they are soon released.
Though we have a robust Offender Management Unit, it is exceedingly difficult for investigators to keep up with the monitoring of prolific offenders who currently reside in our city. As a result, many of our investigations require the assistance and support from several different teams and units throughout the Service.
We would like to thank our District 4 patrol members, Districts 8, 7 and 4 Break and Enter investigators, Online Stolen Property Unit, our analysts, and other valued members who assisted in these investigations.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of KARAMBOWICH, RUSK or STUART is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers through either of the following methods:
