Crowsnest Pass, Alta. – On Aug. 5, 2022, Medicine Hat Police Service requested RCMP assistance in locating 35 year old Rajesh John, who did not return to Medicine Hat as planned, following a fishing trip. Rajesh told family he was going fishing near Lynx Creek and would return home on Aug. 4, 2022.Rajesh’s vehicle was located at the Lynx Creek Campground on the evening of Aug. 5, 2022, and members from the Pincher Creek and Crowsnest Pass RCMP commenced a search.
On Aug. 7, 2022, at approximately 12:00 p.m., with the assistance of The City of Lethbridge Fire Department Dive Team, Rajesh’s remains were located at the base of a waterfall in the area of Lynx Creek and Carbondale.

BACKGROUND
Medicine Hat, Alberta – The Medicine Hat Police Service is requesting public assistance to locate a missing Medicine Hat man, Rajesh JOHN (age 35 years.).
Rajesh is an avid fisherman and vlogger; he has his own media channels that he posts to (normally using the handle, ‘vloggerjohn’). Mr. JOHN left his residence at 3:30 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, and advised family members he was heading towards, ‘the mountains’ via Lethbridge, AB on a vlogging/ fishing expedition.
Other than a communication received just before 8:00 AM on August 3, 2022, Rajesh JOHN’s family & friends have not heard from him. His cellphone has helped confirm his last location to be in the Grassy Lake, AB region at that time.
Rajesh was expected home late on August 4th, 2022 but has not arrived. He was driving a white, 2013 Ford Focus with Alberta Plate: CHV8958.
