Newell County, Alberta – On Aug. 6, 2022, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Brooks RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in which a pedestrian was hit. This occurred on Highway 539, just east of Range Road 165 in Newell County, Alta.
A 24-year-old male from Brooks was struck by an east bound vehicle. He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation continues.
