Red Deer RCMP & VSU bid farewell to support dog Harley

Red Deer, Alberta – Red Deer RCMP are saying farewell this week to a very special member of their team.

Harley, a black 6 year-old Labrador retriever, has been a Facility Dog for over 4 years, working alongside Red Deer City Victim Services Unit (VSU). During his service, Harley has logged nearly 700 hours, providing support to more than 300 individuals and families affected by crime and tragedy. Harley also regularly provided support at the Red Deer Provincial Court and the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.
