Claresholm RCMP arrest and charge male with property offences

Claresholm, Alberta – On Aug. 31, 2022, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Claresholm RCMP entered in to a theft investigation after obtaining information that a male was in possession of stolen farm equipment.

RCMP obtained a search warrant and searched the residence, which is located south east of Claresholm. As a result of this search, RCMP located numerous items which had been reported as stolen, some of which include:

Dirt bike

Industrial sized weed whacker

A rifle

Some other items located during the search were:

Several prohibited weapons

Suspected fentanyl

Arrested

Jaden Ross Vincent (26), a resident of Claresholm, was arrested and has been charged with the following offences:

Possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5000.00 (x4)

Possession of a prohibited weapon

Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Trafficking of a controlled substance

After a judicial hearing, Vincent was released on conditions and will be appearing in Fort McLeod Provincial court on Sept. 21, 2022.
