Police seeking vehicle following shooting in northwest Edmonton on September 4

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking public tips regarding a vehicle that was seen leaving the scene of a shooting that took place in northwest Edmonton on September 4.

At approximately 10:19 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, Northwest Branch officers responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 115 Street and 153 Avenue. On arrival, officers located an injured 18-year-old male in a parking lot. He was transported to the hospital by EMS with life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital in stable but serious condition.

Police are looking to speak with witnesses to the event, as well as any information about a beige or light brown SUV that was seen leaving the scene after the incident.
