Peace River, Alberta – On Sept. 19, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. Peace River RCMP came upon a collision at the intersection of 98 street and 91 avenue in Peace River. Early reports indicate that a school bus was at the intersection when it was rear ended by a Chrysler Pacifica van. After the collision, the driver of the Pacifica left the scene on foot. There were 9 students still on the bus. Fortunately, there are no reported injuries to the bus driver or students.
RCMP remain on scene and are asking for the publics assistance in locating the driver of the Pacifica.
