Rocky View County, Alberta – On September 12, 2022 at approximately 2:46 p.m. a rural resident reported two individuals observed on his trail cameras breaking into his Quonset. Both were still on his property. Strathmore members immediately responded to find both males still on site removing items from the Quonset on the property. Both were arrested on scene. The vehicle a Black 2004 Honda Accord present was determined to be stolen. The property found inside was also stolen from the Quonset.

Sukhchain SINGH a 43 year old male, and Sarabjit SINGH a 41 year old male both residents of Calgary were returned to the Strathmore Detachment where they were charged in relation to this matter and held for a bail hearing. Their charges included:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000;
Theft Under $5,000 X2;
Mischief Under $5,000;
Trespassing;
Break and Enter Committing and Indictable Offence.
Sukhchain SINGH faced additional charges of Failure to Comply with a Condition of a Probation Order X 3, and Operating a Vehicle while Unauthorized. Sukhchain SINGH was remanded into cusotdy while Sarabjit SINGH was released on conditions to appear in court at a later date. Both men are designated as prolific offenders by Calgary Police Service as a result of their lengthy criminal history.
