Peace Regional RCMP advise residents of Cadotte Lake to shelter in place, man wanted for murder travelling on stolen quad – UPDATED

Peace River, Alberta – (7:42 p.m.) Peace Regional RCMP advise that there is no longer a need to shelter in place. However, please be diligent as Brenon Grey is still believed to be in the area.


Peace River, Alberta – (12:36 p.m.) Peace Regional RCMP are advising residents in the Cadotte Lake area to shelter in place. Please stay inside you homes.

There have been reports that Brenon Blake Grey, who is wanted on a warrant for murder, is in the area. It is alleged that he is armed and may be travelling on a stolen quad.

Alberta RCMP are activating additional resources to protect the community and to search for Grey.

Correction – There will not be a Police Initiated Public Alert, however the shelter in place remains.

If you see Grey, Do Not Approach. Call 9-1-1 or your local police immediately.
