Airdrie, Alberta – (8:00 p.m.) On Sept. 28, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Airdrie RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision on 1 St Ave in between 8 th Street and Edwards Way.
Investigation revealed the collision involved a dump truck and a construction worker who had been working on the roadway.
Upon police arrival, EMS declared the construction worker deceased. The driver of the dump truck was uninjured.
Officers are still on scene conducting their investigation and the area will remained closed at this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased.
