Consort, Alberta – On Oct. 13, 2022 at 9:36 a.m. Consort, Coronation, and Oyen RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover of a truck pulling a trailer and skid steer on Highway 41 near Township 325. Upon arrival, emergency responders attempted to assist the lone occupant, however he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver has been identified as a 17-year-old male.
The investigation continues into the cause of this tragic event. Witnesses advise that the vehicle went off the road and over corrected causing it to roll.
Occupational Health and Safety has been called as well to investigate.
