Police in Kamloops, B.C. looking for masked robber

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is investigating a robbery in Sahali yesterday night involving a man wearing a Halloween face mask.

On Oct. 12, 2022, around 10 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers and the Police Dog Service Unit responded to the 900-block of Columbia Street West where a suspect allegedly entered a gas bar, brandished a knife, and demanded cash. The suspect fled with chocolate bars, energy drinks, beef jerky, and lighters, on foot toward Summit Drive.

“Police are still looking for the suspect who was described as wearing all black clothing, a white Halloween mask, gloves, and what appeared to be a wig,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
