Peace River, Alberta – Peace River RCMP have responded to a number of incidents in relation to vehicles being broken into in the area of Shaftesbury Estates. It is believed that about 30 vehicles have been broken into.
RCMP are looking for residents in the Shaftesbury Estates to review any surveillance they might have from Oct. 16, 2022, between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Officers are looking for 2 males dressed in all black going onto driveways checking vehicles.

Police continue to investigate these incidents and encourage the public to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.
Here are some general tips to help keep your personal property safe;
Turn on outside lights at night
Install a timer for lights
Install surveillance cameras
Follow a nightly checklist to ensure everything is locked up
