Coaldale, Alberta – On Oct. 24, 2022, at approximately 5 p.m., Coaldale RCMP responded to a report of discovered human remains located near Range Road 225 and Township Road 92, in Lethbridge County.
An autopsy was conducted at the Calgary Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Oct. 26, 2022, and the deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Tia Blood, a resident of Lethbridge, who was reported missing on Oct. 19, 2022. The manner of death has been deemed inconclusive and remains under investigation.

Hunter Alexander Frank (20), a resident of Lethbridge, was arrested in relation to this investigation. He has been charged with:
· Offering an indignity to human remains
· Theft under $5000 (x2)
The investigation is continuing. It is believed that Tia passed away on the night of Oct. 19 or sometime during Oct. 20, 2022. RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen a teal green tarp on the west side of Range Road 225, along the fence line, any time after Oct. 19.
