Innisfail RCMP charge Red Deer male for pointing a firearm after bar fight; “multiple firearms were seized”

Innisfail, Alberta – On Oct. 30, 2022, Innisfail RCMP received a report of uttering threats at a bar in Innisfail. The investigation revealed that after getting into a fight at the bar, the suspect left and returned with a firearm, pointing it at staff and uttering threats. On Oct. 31, 2022, RCMP arrested the accused and executed a search warrant at his residence where multiple firearms were seized.

RCMP have charged Landon David Aris (24), of Red Deer County with:

· Pointing a firearm

· Uttering threats

· Assault with a weapon

· Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Aris was taken before a justice of the peace where he was released on conditions with his next court date set for Nov. 16, 2022, at Red Deer Provincial Court.
