Kamsack RCMP recovers over $5000 worth of items from a break and enter

Kamsack, Saskatchewan – On October 31st 2022, around 7:00 a.m. a break and enter and theft occurred at a Kamsack business and was subsequently reported to Kamsack RCMP. On November 1st, Kamsack RCMP attended a residence on Keeseekoose First Nation and arrested an adult male as a result of investigation. Over $5000 worth of miscellaneous goods reported stolen were also recovered.

Sterling Quewezance, 26, of Keeseekoose First Nation has been arrested and charged with:

One count, Break and Enter Committing, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code

One count, Theft Over $5000, Section 334(a), Criminal Code

One count, Mischief Over $5000, Section 430(3), Criminal Code

One count, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Section 333.1(1), Criminal Code

One count, Possession property obtained by Crime, Section. 354(1), Criminal Code

Three counts, Breach of Probation, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code

One count, Trafficking in property obtained by crime, Section 355.2, Criminal Code

Sterling Quewezance appeared on his charges this morning November 2, 2022 in Kamsack Provincial Court and was remanded into custody until November 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

As a result of continued investigation, Aaron Quewezance, 38, of Keeseekoose First Nation, has also been charged with:

One count, Break and Enter Committing, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code

One count, Theft Over $5000, Section 334(a), Criminal Code

One count, Mischief Over $5000, Section 430(3), Criminal Code

One count, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Section 333.1(1), Criminal Code

One count, Possession property obtained by Crime, Section. 354(1), Criminal Code

One count, Trafficking in property obtained by crime, Section 355.2, Criminal Code

The Kamsack RCMP are asking the public to assist in locating Aaron Quewezance. He has not been located and there is a warrant for his arrest.

Aaron Quewezance is described as being 5’3″ tall, 121 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair.

Aaron Quewezance may be driving a dark grey mini van with an unknown Saskatchewan license plate.
