Airdrie Rural RCMP on scene at serious motor vehicle collision on Alberta Highway 72 in Rocky View County – SCENE CLEARED

Rocky View County, Alberta – (11:52 a.m.) Airdrie Rural RCMP advise that the collision scene is now clear.

The collision was between a Dodge Caravan and a GMC Canyon. Initial investigation indicates that one of the vehicles crossed the center line, resulting in the head on collision. A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues. No further updates are anticipated.

BACKGROUND

Rocky View County, Alberta – (10:15 a.m.) Airdrie Rural RCMP are currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 72, just east of Range Road 280.
