Semi collides with several parked cars; driver charged with impaired driving

Regina, Saskatchewan – A 38 year-old male is facing a charge of Impaired Operation after a collision involving several vehicles, Tuesday, in Regina. Fortunately, there were no injuries as a result of this collision.

At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, police were dispatched to a multiple vehicle collision at Park Street and 17th Avenue East. Preliminary investigation indicates a semi-truck, travelling south-bound on Park Street at 17th Avenue East, collided with seven parked vehicles. There were no injuries reported. The driver of the semi-truck was arrested at the scene and the truck was impounded.

Thirty-eight year-old Hardip SINGH, of Mississauga, Ontario, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol or Drug or Combination, contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) CC. SINGH was released on an undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on November 24, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
