Fort McMurray, Alberta – On Nov. 14, 2022, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP were dispatched to an apartment building on Franklin Ave. in Fort McMurray. Upon arrival, a deceased 40-year-old male was located inside the residence.
A second male was located at the scene and was arrested, treated at hospital for injuries not related to the arrest, and subsequently released from custody.
Police are not looking for any suspects in relation to this death and there is no concern for public safety.
Alberta RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate. No further information will be released at this time.
