Toronto, Ontario – The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of a homicide investigation.
On Saturday, December 10, 2022, at approximately 7:17 p.m., police responded to a shooting at 5 Massey Square.
It is reported that:
gunshots were heard in the area
officers attended and located a boy outside the building who had been shot
officers commenced life-saving measures
the boy was pronounced deceased at the scene
a second victim, a 16-year-old boy, was located with gunshot wounds nearby
he was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries
The victim was identified as David Petrovic, 17, of Toronto.
