Athabasca RCMP investigate break and enter at a local oil and gas site

Athabasca, Alberta – On Dec. 10, 2022, shortly after 10:30 a.m., Athabasca RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a local oil and gas site, located in the area of Highway 827 and Township Road 632.

Through initial investigation, RCMP officers determined that the site was last accessed by employees on Dec. 9, 2022, around 9:00 p.m., and that the break and entered occurred sometime overnight. Several items of high value were stolen from the property, including a Hamdon Model M Echometer, costing approximately $10,000.
