Wetaskiwin RCMP seek public assistance in identifying sexual assault suspect

Wetaskiwin, Alberta – On May 28 2022, Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a call for a youth female having been sexually assaulted on the ground south of the Wetaskiwin City Hall, in the area of 4705 50 Avenue.

RCMP have determined at approximately 9:45 pm on May 28, a red 4-door sedan occupied by four males with long hair drove along side the female who was standing on the sidewalk. One of the males exited the vehicle, offering the youth female alcohol. When the female victim refused, the male suspect forced her to the ground beginning to kiss and grope her. The suspect male fled the area in the red sedan with the other males.

The offending suspect is described as:

Caucasian male.

Dirty blond messy hair, shoulder length.

Beige or white pants, red sweater, black shoes.

All other subjects inside the sedan are described as young men with shoulder length hair.

Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible.
