OPP Constable Grzegorz Pierzchala killed in the line of duty responding to call for vehicle in the ditch

Hagersville, Ontario – Ontario Provincial Police are searching for a 25-year-old male (IN CUSTODY) following the fatal shooting of OPP Constable Grzegorz Pierzchala on December 27th in Hagersville, Ontario.

Constable Grzegorz (Greg) Pierzchala, 28, with the OPP for just over a year, was shot after responding to a call for a vehicle in the ditch at Indian Line and Consession 14 of Walpole around 2:40 pm local time.

TWO SUSPECTS NOW IN CUSTODY

Police are searching for a male and a female who may be in a black 2021 Chevrolet pickup truck who were seen fleeing the scene.

The male has been identified as Randall McKenzie, age 25 and a female who has not yet been named. (NOW IN CUSTODY)

Randall Mckenzie is described as 188 cm tall, 70 kg, hazel eyes, black hair with an olive complexion.

If you know where McKenzie or the woman travelling with him might be, call 9-1-1 or your local police. DO NOT APPROACH.
