Two suspects from B.C. charged with stealing mail in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta – On Dec. 17, 2022 at 4:36 a.m., Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responded to a call of a break-in to mailboxes in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. A male and female were observed fleeing the scene in a vehicle but were located shortly by Fort Saskatchewan RCMP.

Richard Kubik and Marion Sevilla both residents of Sooke, British Columbia, have been charged with the following:

theft of mail

possession of break-in instruments

possession of stolen property over $5000

possession of stolen property under $5000

disguise with intent

Both have been released from custody with court set for Jan. 19, 2023, at Fort Saskatchewan provincial court.

As this matter is now before the Court, no further information will be provided.
