40-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault and uttering threats in Prince Albert

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – A 40-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault and uttering threats following an incident at a multi-unit residential building in the 700 Block of 1st Avenue East. The incident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The woman gained access to the building and is reported to have threatened residents with a knife and assaulted a man before fleeing. An 89-year-old man was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance in serious condition.

The suspect was arrested by police near the intersection of 1st Avenue and 10th Street West just after 8:30 p.m. Monday. April Ross appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court Tuesday morning. [Information 991218799]
