Athabasca, Alberta – On Dec. 12, 2022, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Athabasca RCMP responded to reports of a two vehicle collision, with additional information that one motorist had fled from the scene. The collision occurred in the downtown core, within Athabasca town limits. Athabasca RCMP believes the motorist to be an elderly woman, possibly driving a Buick Rendezvous. The vehicle may have damage to the front end.
