Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services investigating homicide on Skownan First Nation

Skownan First Nation, Manitoba – On January 14, 2023, at approximately 10:25 am, Winnipegosis RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence on Skownan First Nation.

Officers arrived at the residence and located a deceased 68-year-old male victim. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

Major Crime Services, along with RCMP Forensic Identification Services and Winnipegosis RCMP, continue to investigate.
