Calgary, Alberta – Police have located a man wanted on warrant for sexually assaulting a woman at a social-sector agency and have laid an additional charge related to another case.
Papi MUYEMBI CHIYOMBO, 40, has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault in relation to an incident that occurred at a downtown social-sector agency on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2022, in Calgary. He was arrested by the Edmonton Police Service on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023.
MUYEMBI CHIYOMBO also faces an additional charge of one count of sexual assault for sexually touching a woman without consent in a separate incident that also occurred in Calgary near City Hall on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022.

He will next appear in court in Calgary on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023.

BACKGROUND
Calgary, Alberta – After many attempts to locate a suspect wanted for sexually touching a woman without consent, a warrant has now been issued for his arrest and we are seeking assistance from the public to locate him.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at a social-sector agency downtown, where the man used force against an employee to touch her in a sexual manner without consent.
On Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, charges against the man were laid by way of warrant. Numerous attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful and we are asking the public for information on his whereabouts.
Papi MUYEMBI CHIYOMBO, 40, is described as approximately 6’ tall and 210 pounds, with short, dark hair. He often wears a light-blue denim jacket with an image of Donald Duck printed on the back.
