Athabasca, Alberta – On Jan. 9, 2023, Athabasca RCMP executed a warrant at a residence in Rochester, Alta. During the execution of that warrant, Athabasca RCMP located and apprehended 33-year-old Robert Lysohirka. He was arrested on two outstanding warrants for property and persons related crimes which occurred throughout Athabasca and the surrounding county.
Robert Lysohirka is facing multiple additional charges including:
Flight from peace officer
Possession of stolen property
Driving while unauthorized
Fail to comply with conditions of a release order
Following a judicial hearing, Robert Lysohirka was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Athabasca Provincial Court in the coming weeks.
