Vancouver, BC – A man and woman wanted Canada-wide for a Calgary home invasion are both back in custody after being arrested in Vancouver.
Dean Patrick Gallant, 47, was arrested near BC Children’s Hospital around 9 p.m. on February 22, after allegedly fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle. At the time of his arrest, Gallant was wanted Canada-wide for break and enter, assault, assault with a weapon, robbery with a firearm, using a firearm to commit an indictable offence, and unlawful confinement in connection with an incident in Calgary on January 21.
Tinesha Lee Redwood, 35, was arrested yesterday morning near Seymour and Helmcken Street on warrants for break and enter, assault, robbery with a firearm, use of a firearm to commit an indictable offence, unlawful confinement, and failing to comply with a release order.
Gallant is the suspect Vancouver Police had been searching for when another man was mistakenly arrested near Richards Street and Pacific Boulevard earlier in the day on February 22.

BACKGROUND
Calgary, Alberta – We are looking for the public’s help to locate a man and woman who are believed to be involved in a home invasion that occurred over the weekend.
On Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, at approximately 6:45 p.m., three offenders broke into a residence located in the 200 block of Templeview Way N.E., and assaulted a man who was inside the garage at the time. The victim managed to escape and ran to a neighbour’s house for assistance and to call police. The offenders fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Investigators believe that this incident was targeted and that two of the suspects were known to the victim.
A man and woman are now wanted on warrants in relation to this incident. Investigators are also working to determine a suspect description in relation to the third offender, believed to be a man.
Dean Patrick GALLANT, 47, is wanted on warrants for break and enter, assault, assault with a weapon, robbery with a firearm, using a firearm to commit an indictable offence and unlawful confinement. GALLANT is described as 5’9” tall, 280 pounds, with a heavy build, short brown hair, hazel eyes and a beard. He has multiple tattoos, including on both his arms and neck.
Tinesa Lee REDWOOD, 35, is wanted on warrants for break and enter, assault, robbery with a firearm, use of a firearm to commit an indictable offence, unlawful confinement and failing to comply with a release order. REDWOOD is described as 5’6” tall, 160 pounds, with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo on the back of her neck.
