Calgary Police seek assistance in identifying robbery suspect

Calgary, Alberta – We’re asking the public for their help in identifying a man believed to be responsible for a robbery that occurred earlier this week in the southeast.

Just before 10 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, an unknown man entered the Deerfoot Inn and Casino located at 11500 35 Street S.E., and approached employees stating he had a weapon and demanded cash. He fled the Casino with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported, and no property damage was sustained during the incident.

The suspect is described as wearing a medical mask, a black jacket, black toque and blue jeans with a heavy build.
