Airdrie RCMP investigate pharmacy robbery

Airdrie, Alberta – On Feb. 8, 2023, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Airdrie RCMP were dispatched to a robbery at a local pharmacy in the area of Main Street. Two male suspects, wearing dark clothing entered the store and demanded narcotics and cash. The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and narcotics. No one was injured during the incident.

Suspect 1 is described as:

Dark complexion male with slim build

Approximately 6’3” to 6’5” tall

Wearing dark clothing

Face mask covering

Suspect 2 is described as:

Dark complexion male with slim build

Approximately 6’3” to 6’5” tall

Wearing dark clothing

Face mask covering

Airdrie RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance for any information in relation to this robbery (or identifying those responsible). This investigation is currently on-going and RCMP are requesting any CCTV footage in the areas of Main Street Northbound to Veterans Blvd, and from Yankee Valley Blvd during the time frame of 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
