Leduc, Alberta – Leduc RCMP have charged two 16-year-old youths with arson in relation to this investigation.
Both youths were released from custody on conditions to attend Leduc Provincial Court on March 24, 2023. In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the name of the youths charged will not be released.

Leduc RCMP investigate fire to outdoor rink
Leduc, Alta. – Leduc RCMP are investigating a fire at the Southfork Outdoor Skating Rink. On Jan. 28, 2023, at around 6:30 p.m., Leduc Fire were dispatched to a fire at the rink. They were successful in putting out the blaze however there was significant damage to the rink itself. RCMP working in
partnership with City of Leduc Fire Services continue to investigate the circumstances of this fire.
