Fort McMurray, Alberta – Fort McMurray RCMP have cleared from the scene of multiple jack-knifed semi tractor trailers on Highway 63. Traffic flow has returned to normal. RCMP would like to remind motorists to drive with due care and attention to the road conditions.
BACKGROUND
Fort McMurray, Alberta – Fort McMurray RCMP are currently on-scene of multiple jack-knifed semi tractor trailers on Highway 63 at approximately mile marker 190 outside of Fort McMurray. Northbound and southbound traffic are blocked as a result of these incidents. RCMP anticipate being on-scene for several hours while emergency crews clear up the scene. There are no injuries reported at this time.
Poor road conditions and changing weather to the region are factors in these and multiple other single vehicles loosing traction with the road surface, sliding into the ditch.
