Canmore RCMP on scene at multi vehicle collision on Highway 1 involving approximately 15 vehicles

Canmore, Alberta – (8:44 PM) Canmore RCMP are currently on scene at a multi vehicle collision in the west bound lanes of Highway 1, at the Lac des Arcs overpass. This collision involves approximately 15 vehicles.

At this time, only minor injuries have been reported.

There is one lane open at this time, but expect delays. RCMP advise that driving conditions are very poor in the area.

An update will be sent when the highway has been cleared.
