Stratford, Prince Edward Island – As a result of a three-week investigation involving twelve reported incidents of full pop cans being thrown at oncoming vehicles, RCMP have arrested an 18-year-old Stratford man and an 18-year-old Donaldston man.

On February 11th, Stratford RCMP received their first complaint of individuals throwing full pop cans at moving vehicles in the Stratford area. Over the next three weeks, twelve incidents were reported to the police, occurring in Stratford, Mount Albion, and Hazelbrook PEI. These events lead to thousands of dollars worth of damages to vehicles. A thorough police investigation attributed these incidents to the two men, who will face mischief charges. They are set to appear in Charlottetown Provincial Court on April 12th, 2023.
