Lac La Biche RCMP arrest two in break and enter investigation

Lac La Biche, Alberta – On March 16, 2023, Lac La Biche RCMP received a report of a break and enter from a business in the industrial park west of Lac La Biche. While attending to the call Lac La Biche RCMP received a call from the Lac La Biche Peace Officers advising they had located two males nearby who were breaching court orders.

Lac La Biche RCMP through the use of CCTV footage determined that the two males located by the Peace Officers were the two who had broken into the business shortly before. The two males were located a short distance from the Peace Officers on Highway 55 and arrested.

Adam Cardinal, 42, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 7 charges including;

Break and entering a business x4

Mischief damage to property under $5,000 x 2

Fail to comply with conditions

Billy Cardinal, 28, a resident of Lac La Biche County, was arrested and is facing 8 charges including;

Break and entering a business x4

Mischief damage to property under $5,000 x 2

Fail to comply with conditions x2

Following a judicial hearing, Adam Cardinal was remanded in to custody and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on April 3, 2023.

Following a judicial hearing, Billy Cardinal was released and is scheduled to appear in Lac La Biche Provincial Court on May 1, 2023
