Peace Regional RCMP seek public assistance to identify shoplifting suspects

Peace River, Alberta – On Feb. 14, 2023 Peace Regional RCMP responded to a shoplifting complaint at 7900 99 Ave, Peace River, Alta. Security video was obtained, which showed a female exiting the store without having paid for her goods. The female fled on foot, the was observed entering into a dark Ford escape that was driven away by a second suspect.

Peace Regional RCMP are requesting public assistance in identifying the two individuals involved.

Suspect 1:

· Female

· Wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, tan knee-high boots, wearing darker framed glasses

· Thin build

· Approximately 5 foot

· Approximately 120 pounds

· Light complexion

· Brown hair that appeared lightened at the ends; long bangs

Suspect 2:

· Male

· Wearing dark jacket, shirt with white design or logo, blue jeans, black shoes with white soles/strings/tongue area, ball cap

· Average build

· Approximately 5 foot 7 inches

· Approximately 150 pounds

· Light complexion

Suspect vehicle:

· Black or dark colour

· Ford escape

· Approximately 2011

· Alberta plate

Peace River, Alta. – On Feb. 23, 2023 the Peace Regional RCMP received a complaint of theft from a business on 51 Street in Grimshaw, Alta. A male was observed by multiple witnesses exiting the store without paying for goods.

The male suspect is described as:

Light complexion

Medium build

Dark brown or black hair

Initially wearing dark pants, dark hoodie, a mask, black and white shoes and a dark backpack; later switching to a yellow Champion sweater
