Red Deer, Alberta – On Mar. 13th, 2023, Red Deer RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) located a stolen black Dodge Ram 3500; the vehicle had previously fled from police multiple times that morning. With the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Service, the RCMP Emergency Response Team-South, and the Central Alberta District Crime Reduction Team, RCMP Red Deer GIS were able to enter a property located just west of Caroline, Alta. and arrest three males.
As a result of the investigation four stolen vehicles, including the Dodge Ram 3500, were recovered. RCMP officers also located three bottles of what is believed to be Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), approximately 275g of Methamphetamine, approximately 105g Cocaine and 10g Fentanyl.
Mitchell ENGLER (37), a resident of Red Deer, has been charged with the following offences:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Gamma-hydroxybutyrate
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Methamphetamine
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Fentanyl
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Cocaine
Possess break in tools
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
Fail to comply with Release Order
Daniel BUEHLER (27), of no fixed address, has been charged with the following offences:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Gamma-hydroxybutyrate
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Methamphetamine
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Fentanyl
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Cocaine
Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine
Possess break in tools
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
Fail to comply with Release Order
Devon TANNER (37), a resident of Olds, Alta., has been charged with the following offences:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Methamphetamine
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Fentanyl
Fail to comply with Release Order x3
Possession of Prohibited Device
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000
All three have been remanded into custody. Devon Tanner is to appear in court Mar. 23rd, 2023 with Mitchell Engler and Daniel Buehler to appear on Apr. 6th, 2023.
